Description

Overview

A high-performance brush-on liquid membrane that provides continuous airtightness and vapour control. Ideal for achieving regulatory compliance and energy efficiency in both small and large-scale construction projects.

Key Uses

  • Floor-to-wall junctions

  • Wall-to-ceiling and wall-wall connections

  • Window and door reveals

  • Pipe and service penetrations

  • Vertical and horizontal joints

  • Wall-roof interfaces (including steel deck systems)

  • Curtain wall interfaces

Application & Coverage

  • Format: Brush-on (paint‐on) liquid membrane, ready to use

  • Preparation: Stir well before use. Do not dilute or add water/solvent

  • Application tool: Use a flat paintbrush suited for water-based coatings

  • Layers & Coverage: Single coat usually sufficient, with recommended consumption between 0.5 – 1 kg per m²

  • Surface Prep: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, free of loose material. Fill gaps larger than ~5 mm with suitable filler (foam or mortar) before coating

  • Drying & Finish: Allow full drying before applying finishes (plaster, paint, etc.). Drying time typically 24-48 hours, depends on humidity, substrate, and temperature

  • Cleanup: Tools cleanable with water

Benefits

  • Enables durable, continuous airtightness with minimal seams or joints

  • Reduces air leakage and improves energy efficiency

  • Easier and cleaner to apply than many traditional methods (e.g. cementitious mortars)

  • Flexible for both residential and commercial work

  • Suitable for internal applications; when used properly, meets relevant building codes and standards
