Air Tight Shutter for Cooker Hoods

This is one of the simplest solutions for achieving airtight seals in extractor cooker hoods. The shutter opens automatically with the force of extracted air when the cooker hood is in use. When not in use, the shutter seals the ductwork hermetically, preventing air infiltration and heat loss.

Applications:

• Ensures airtightness for extractor cooker hoods when not in use

Limitations:

• Suitable for horizontal installation only
• Designed for round ducting only
• Not suitable for standard bathroom extract fans

Certification:

• Tested in our training and testing facility with 0.0 m/s airflow when installed as advised (video of test details available upon request)
