The BlauGelbThermal Packer has been developed for creating a base profile underneath the window and door frames. Due to its depth of 64mm, it will fit perfectly for the most available windows and door systems. The packer is made of the same high density EPS as all other Triotherm structural insulation components.
A mechanical fixing is recommended, to create a durable connection to the window or door frame.
The Thermal Packer can be linked with the standard Triotherm thermal supports, e.g. when installing windows in the cavity without conventional concrete sills. It creates a secure and approved installation strategy for aluminium window sills and oversills without thermal bridging.
