This tape has been originally used for the watertight sealing of corner junctions on building structures, mainly in wet room areas and walk-in-showers. It has an integrated 70mm wide rubber coating, made of TPE. It can be used for creating a durable air tight corner junction in conjunction with air tight paint as well, as it is mainly required at floor-to-wall junctions in timber frame structures.
Application:
to create a reinforced air tight corner junction in conjunction with air tight paint
to seal corner junctions in wet rooms in conjunction with waterproofing kits
Limitation:
attention is needed to ensure an installation in line with the corner shape, to prevent any protrusion
Application method (for air tightness application only)
1. Apply a coat of air tight paint and push the sealing tape into the fresh coat.
2. Once the first coat is cured, apply another layer of air tight paint on top of the mesh fleece.
Dimension:
120mm x 10m, 120mm x 50m
